The Saint Mark’s School Advisory Council (SAC) helps drive school policies, marketing, and governance.
The Saint Mark’s School Advisory Council (SAC) is a group of parents who assist the pastor and principal in governance of our school. SAC members serve as a sounding board for school leadership, suggest and review new policies, promote the school among current and prospective families, and coordinate the work of several committees, including:
Saint Mark’s School and Parish together comprise “A Strong Family United in Christ". That is why SAC members also serve on joint parish committees that focus on:
- Buildings & Grounds
- Financial Stewardship
SAC members are nominated by their peers and appointed by the principal and pastor to a three-year term. Parents who are interested in serving can indicate their interest on the Parent Volunteer Form in the registration packet at the beginning of the school year, or contact the school office about observing a SAC meeting during the school year.
