Saint Mark's recognizes that finding the right school for your child also means finding the right parent community for you.
Some new parents are drawn to Saint Mark's because they live in the neighborhood or because of relationships they have with families already here. Many parents say that their most valuable personal experiences at Saint Mark’s have been friendships they've formed with other parents and the personal contributions they've made to the school community.
At its founding 100 years ago, Saint Mark’s School was truly a neighborhood school. Today, Saint Mark’s attracts families from all over Saint Paul, Minneapolis, and the suburbs. Even though our definition of neighborhood has expanded, our community remains closely connected.
We're confident that you'll discover a unique and welcoming community at Saint Mark's School. To ensure this, we utilize a mentor program for all new families. Further volunteer opportunities abound. Additionally, we offer “Parent Visit Day” several times throughout the year, when parents can socialize before school and then visit their child(ren)’s classroom(s). Finally, grade-level parent parties, several school social evening events, and first Friday cocoa are parent favorites throughout the year.
