Field Trips

“Do not let the classroom get in the way of your learning”. This old adage points to the unfortunate reality that many schools lack engaging, meaningful, and rigorous learning opportunities for students. The norm for Saint Mark’s teachers, however, is to bring the world into the classroom, and to bring the classroom into the world.

One great example of that is the field trip adventures in which our students participate each year. Apple orchards, the State Captiol, the Xcel Energy Center and Target Field, Feed My Starving Children, The Omni Theater and Science Museum, and Como Zoo are just a handful of the many exciting field trips that our teachers employ to help engage students in real life learning.
