Program Sessions

June 12 - 23: Nature

We’re kicking off the summer by exploring the natural world around us. The Twin Cities are full of parks, trails, landscapes, and other natural features. We will look at the different trees, rock formations, and animals in the area while having fun playing in different parks in the area!

June 26 - July 7: Entrepreneur

This year will be the second annual summer lemonade stand! Students learn about local businesses, make their own business plan, advertise, and run their own lemonade stand as they learn about what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

July 10 - 21: Media

New this year, we will explore different types of media. Newspapers, TV stations, marketing companies, and radio stations all provide the public with news and information. We will look at these different forms of communication and how they impact our daily lives.

July 24 - August 4: Culinary

Food is an endless world of science and creativity! Chefs not only make food that tastes good, but also looks and smells pleasing. In this session, we will learn about different foods, ingredients, and recipes and what types of delicious and eye-catching foods kids can make!

August 7 - 18: Sports

Sports are part of every child’s summer. Whether indoors, like table tennis, or outdoors like mini golf or bocce, sports are appealing to all ages and abilities. During our sports session, we will learn about what it means to be part of a team and we will explore different types of sports and games.

August 21 - 25: Ice Cream

Summer would not be complete without ice cream! This one week session rounds out our summer program with learning about how ice cream is made, where the ingredients come from, and how different flavors are made. A “cool” way to end the summer!
