What do you love most about your work?
I love being able to see someone grow and believe in themselves over time with patience and confidence in themselves, especially when they may not have at first. The joy that it brings in a student I teach or player I coach never gets old and drives me to help as many people as I can every day.

What has being part of a faith-based community taught you?
Being in a faith-based community has taught me that we not only need faith and belief in ourselves to succeed every day, but faith and positive energy from others around you with the same passion lifts each of us up so that we not only grow ourselves, but as a community together.

What does being a Marker mean to you?
Even before officially being a Marker, I already felt as if I was a part of this community. It felt like a family of authentic, genuine people that surround each other with positive, welcoming energy. Being a marker is something I take pride in and love sharing with others I know about how real this community is.

Share a bit about yourself:
I am a recent graduate from the University of St. Thomas where I studied Health and Human Performance, while competing as a collegiate track & field athlete. I have been the head 8th grade boys basketball coach at Saint Mark’s for the past 2 years and coach as an athlete development/skills specialist for basketball players. I love music, create it, and beyond the surface level person to person conversation.

Introduction to the Community:
I am a recent graduate from the University of St. Thomas where I studied Health and Human Performance, while competing as a collegiate track & field athlete (Jumper). I have been the head 8th grade boys basketball coach at Saint Mark’s for the past 2 years and coach as an athlete development/skills specialist for basketball players. I love music, create it, and beyond the surface level person to person conversation. Starting this next phase of my life with Saint Mark’s has never felt so right. Even as a coach where we practiced for a total of two hours a week, with one game a week, time passed and the families and community at Saint Mark’s made me feel at home. I’m proud to say I am a part of this community and cannot wait to contribute my time and energy here to the fullest.
