Grade 4; Athletic Director
What do you love most about your work?
The opportunity to teach in a Catholic school environment with great students, faculty, and parents is what I enjoy most about coming to school each day. The energy in the building is contagious, and we have great students who are willing to work hard to learn each day. We've made a commitment here to helping others succeed, and it is really powerful to have every member of your community doing their best to help you reach your best.
What has being part of a faith-based community taught you?
Being part of a faith-based community has taught and reminded me that our faith is stronger together. The opportunities to pray together each day, grow in our faith, and celebrate Mass together make Saint Mark's a very special place.
What does being a Marker mean to you?
I am so grateful for how welcoming the Marker community has been to me. Each day I see how special it is to be a Marker from the positive interactions with students, faculty, and parents. On a daily basis I witness our community creating the best school environment possible for our students and families.
Share a bit about yourself:
I am blessed with an incredible family that includes my parents (Pat and Laurie) and my five sisters (Danielle, Devin, Lauren, Kathleen, and Gabby). I grew up in Winona, Minnesota and graduated from Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. In addition to teaching, I love to coach multiple sports including volleyball, basketball, and softball. I was blessed with a great coaching mentor in my dad, who was also my high school football coach. I love living in Saint Paul, and I am thrilled to be a Marker!
