What do you love most about your work?
There are so many things that I love about teaching! If I had to pick one thing, I would say that I love watching students grow and make connections throughout the year. I truly believe that being a fifth grade teacher is the best job ever!
What has being part of a faith-based community taught you?
I have really enjoyed sharing the Catholic faith with my students, and especially love the time that we spend in prayer. Being able to teach values, while teaching academics, is such a gift.
What does being a Marker mean to you?
Being a Marker has meant being part of a great community. I have felt so welcomed and supported since joining Saint Mark's. This community really cares about their children, and wants the best for them in all aspects of life.

I grew up in Winona and always love going home to visit. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas, and my graduate degree from Saint Mary's University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my husband and daughter. I enjoy reading, camping, and cheering on the Vikings!
